A thick trunked mame sized buxus harlandii bonsai, potted in a hakuju-en chinese teapot clay pot, with the exclusive hakuju-en stamp. Buxus harlandii develop a thick canopy, which is easy for beginners and experts alike to develop into stunning bonsai specimens. Hakuju-en worked with a Yixing potter to develop our own range of bonsai pots, using high quality teapot clay (called: purple clay, which is actually red) that patinas in a very beautiful way, inducing what the japanese would begin to describe as 'Wabi-Sabi' qualities.
